Café and retail

Food, drinks and shopping options at Yitpi Yartapuultiku

Stop for a refreshing drink, or sample locally produced foods with native flavours. Or, shop for gifts, souvenirs or artwork by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creators.

Ngunyawayitila Café

Flooded with natural light and framed by river views, the café is the heart of Yitpi’s welcome. In these first months our food offer is intentionally straightforward: quality espresso, locally roasted coffee, premium teas and a rotating selection of sweet and savoury items sourced from trusted Adelaide producers. Seating spills onto a sheltered deck, making it easy to pause between trail segments or warm up after a breezy riverside stroll.

Menus include locally sourced and produced pies, snacks and cakes. Check the blackboard on the day or ask our barista for fresh out of the oven specials. Cash and all major cards are accepted and keep cups are encouraged but not required.

The café is open 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 2pm weekends and public holidays (excluding Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday).

High chairs are available, and water bowls can be supplied for assistance dogs.

The Yitpi Store

Just inside the main foyer you’ll find a curated collection of gifts and mementos that celebrate Aboriginal creativity and connection to Country. Expect a thoughtful mix of hand crafted jewellery, art prints, textiles and children’s books, with new makers added regularly. Wherever possible we source directly from Kaurna artists and from First Nations suppliers across Australia, ensuring every purchase supports Aboriginal enterprise. Prices range from pocket money souvenirs to one of a kind artworks.

Both the café and store play an important role in our visitor journey – offering moments to reflect, refuel and take a piece of the experience home. Product suggestions are welcome. If there is something you would love to see on our shelves, let the retail team know in person or via email. For menu updates, new product drops and forthcoming tasting events, subscribe to our newsletter and be the first to hear what’s brewing at Yitpi Yartapuultiku.
